DS2482-800   The I²C to 1-Wire bridge device performs bidirectional protocol conversion between the I²C host and the 1-Wire slave device

The DS2482's -101 1-C to -1 line bridge device interfaces directly standard (100kHz max) or fast (400kHz max) to perform bidirectional protocol conversion between the 1-Wire master and any downstream 1-Wire slave devices. The DS2482-101 is a 1-Wire host relative to any additional 1-Wire slave device. An internal factory calibration timer mitigates time-critical 1-Wire waveforms generated by the system host processor and supports both standard and high-speed 1-Wire communication speeds. To optimize 1-Wire waveform generation, the DS2482-101 performs rising and falling 1-Wire slew rate control and provides additional programmable features to match the 1-Wire slave environment with drive characteristics. Programmable, strong pull-up support for 1-Wire power delivery to 1-Wire devices such as EEPROMs and sensors. These features in the DS2482-101 are combined with the outputs to enhance the control of external MOSFETs in hard-pull applications. In the I²C slave address, a binary address is assigned to the input control, and the slave in the other I²C system is used to resolve potential conflicts. When not in use, the device can consume minimal power in sleep mode.
