The single-channel 1-Wire host is adjustable in timing and sleep modes

description

The DS2483's I²ç-to-1 bridge ® device interfaces directly standard (100kHz max) or fast (400kHz max) between the master and any downstream 1-Wire slave devices. The DS2483 is a 1-Wire host as opposed to any additional 1-Wire slave device. Internally, a user-adjustable timer reduces time-critical 1-Wire waveforms generated by the system host processor, while supporting both standard and high-speed 1-Wire communication speeds. In addition, the 1-Wire bus can be turned off under software control. Dual voltage operation, allowing on different operating voltages, I²C and 1-Wire sides. Strong pull-up function to support 1-Wire devices such as EEPROM and 1-Wire power delivery of sensors. When not in use, the DS2483 can consume minimal power in sleep mode.

  • ±Built-in 8kV mannequin (HBM) ESD protection rating for IO pin contact discharge
  • -40°C to +85°C operating temperature range
  • 8-pin TDFN package and 6-pin SOT23 package
