DS2502-E64 EPROM memory

TheDS2502-E64 is a 1024-bit memory-only variant of the DS2502. It differs from the standard DS2502 in its custom ROM family code 89H, UniqueWare™ identifier 5E7h local standard ROM sequence field 12 bits. Otherwise, the electrical and logical behavior is the same as the DS2502. For technical details, refer to the DS2502 data sheet.

The first 32 bytes of the DS2502-E64's EPROM memory contain a globally unique 64-bit node address (EUI-64 format) and are write-protected. The data structure is as follows: The full datasheet for the UniqueWare device uses the default data structure (Figure 1). This format is also known as UDP (Universal Data Packet) and the use of the commonly used 1-Wire®API. Therefore, if one of these APIs is used, a high-level function can be called to read and validate the inverted CRC16. The data logging begins with a UniqueWare item ID of 1 byte (0CH) and 4 bytes of UniqueWare ID 00001128h. The next 8 bytes contain the EUI-64 global identifier (node address) incremented by the 40-bit extended identifier consisting of the IEEE-assigned® 24-bit company ID value 006035h. An inverted 16-bit CRC data record ends. The remaining bytes in the planned 32-byte memory page are still not included. Neither is it a 40-bit extended identifier or a 64-bit ROM registration number associated with a 24-bit company ID. The ROM registration number is used to provide a unique address to access the DS2502-E64 1-Wire bus hook.
