Key features:

The logic level of the 1-Wire bus with drain open-circuit PIO pin control and closed-loop control can be determined

The DS2406's dual addressing switch Plus memory provides a simple way to remotely control a pair of drain open-circuit transistors and monitor the closed-loop control of the 1-Wire® bus at the output logic level of each transistor. Each DS2406 has its own 64-bit ROM registration code, with unique identity guaranteed by factory lithography chips for absolute traceability. The device's 1024-bit EPROM can be used as an electronic tag to store information such as switch functions, physical location, and installation date. Communication with the DS2406 follows the Dallas Semiconductor standard 1-Wire protocol and can be done with minimal hardware, such as a single port pin of a microcontroller. Multiple DS2406 devices can reside on a common 1-Wire network and operate independently of each other. Individual devices will respond to conditional search commands if they meet certain user-specified conditions, including output transistor status, static logic level, or transistor output voltage transition.
