description

DS28E01-100 Combination & Challenges – Responding to certified ISO/IEC 10118-3 Secure Hashing Algorithm (SHA-1) implementation of secure 1024-bit EEPROM. The 1024-bit EEPROM array is configured as a four-page, 256-bit and 64-bit register to perform write operations. All memory pages can be written protected, and one page can only change from 1 to 0 in EPROM simulation mode. Each DS28E01-100 has its own unique 64-bit ROM registration code, from factory to chip lithography. The DS28E01-100 communicates via a single-contact 1-Wire® bus. Communication, following the standard 1-Wire protocol, registers the number of 1-Wire network node addresses on a multi-device basis.

  • The on-chip 512-bit SHA-1 engine calculates the 160-bit information authentication code (MAC) and the generated secret
  • Write access to the secret you need to know and the computing power and transfer authorization of the 160-bit MAC
  • User programmable page write protection 0, 3 or 4 pages
  • Page 1, User Programmable OTP EPROM Simulation Mode ("Write 0")
  • Communication with a single digital signal host uses the 1-Wire protocol, at 15.3kbps or up to 125kbps
  • Switching point hysteresis and filtering optimize performance in noisy environments
  • Read and write over a wide voltage range of over 2.8V from -40°C to 5.25V to +85°C
  • 6-pin TSOC and TDFN packages or 2-pin TO-92 and SFN packages
