DS28E01-100 Combination and Challenge - Response Certification ISO/IEC 10118-3 Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA-1) implements secure 1024-bit EEPROM. The 1024-bit EEPROM array is configured as a four-page, 256-bit and 64-bit scratchpad to perform write operations. All memory pages can be write-protected, and one page can be in EPROM emulation mode, where the bits can only change from 1 to 0. Each DS28E01-100 is guaranteed its own unique 64-bit ROM registration number, factory to chip lithography. The DS28E01-100 communicates over a single-contact 1-Wire® bus. Communication, following the standard 1-Wire protocol, is registered with the number of node addresses in a multi-device 1-Wire network.

  • Switching point hysteresis and filtering optimize performance in noisy environments
  • Read and write over 2.8V over a wide voltage range from -40°C to 5.25V to +85°C
  • 6-pin TSOC and TDFN packages or 2-pin TO-92 and SFN packages
