DS28E02   1024-bit EEPROM memory

The DS28E02 combines 1024-bit EEPROM with a challenge - the security of the certified FIPS 180-3 Secure Hashing Algorithm (SHA-1) implementation. The 1024-bit EEPROM array is configured as a four-page, 256-bit and 64-bit register to perform write operations. All memory pages can be written protected, and one page can only change from 1 to 0 in EPROM simulation mode. Each DS28E02 has its own guaranteed unique 64-bit ROM registration code, which is factory-installed to the chip. DS28E02 communication is via a single-contact 1-Wire® bus. Communication, following the standard 1-Wire protocol, registers the number of 1-Wire network node addresses on a multi-device basis.
