The DS28EC20 is a 20480-bit 1-Wire®EEPROM with an organization of 80 256-bitsmemoryPage. An additional page reservation control feature. The data is written to a 32-byte scratchpad, verified, and then copied to EEPROM memory. As a special feature, the 8 memory page blocks can be write-protected or EPROM emulation mode, where the bits can only change from 1 to 0 state. The DS28EC20 communicates a single-conductor 1-Wire bus. communication, following the standard 1-Wire protocol. Each device has its own immutable, unique 64-bit ROM registration number. Registration numbers are devices that are used to address a multipoint 1-Wire network environment.
