DS42MB200 is a dual signal conditioning 2:1 multiplexer and 1:2 fan-out buffer backplane redundancy application designed for use. Signal conditioning features include input equalization and programmable output pre-emphasis to enable the FR4 backplane for data communication up to 4.25 Gbps. Each input stage has a fixed EQ to reduce distortion board trace ISI.

All output drivers have 4 optional pre-emphasized steps to compensate for transmission losses and reduce decisive jitter from the long-term FR4 backplane. Pre-weighted levels that can control the drivers on the line and switch sides independently. The internal loopback path output from the input switch side of the switch can be tested in high-speed systems. All receiver inputs are internally terminated with a 100Ω differential termination resistor. All driver outputs terminate internally with 50Ω to V CC.
