The DS90C3201 is a 3.3V single/dual flat panel display – Link's 10-bit color transmitter is designed for use with LCD TVs, LCD displays, digital TVs, flat screen TVs, and plasma displays. The interface between the DS90C3201 is designed for digital video processors and display devices using low-power, low-EMI LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) interfaces. The DS90C3201 converts into 70 LVCMOS/LVTTL data bitstreams of ten LVDS data. Transmitters can be programmed to clock up and down the clock or data. Optional two-wire serial programming enables fine-tuning of development and production environments. At a clock frequency of 135 MHz, 70-bit LVCMOS/LVTTL data transmission is transmitted at 945 Mbps per LVDS channel. With a 135 MHz clock, the data throughput is 9.45 Gbit/s (945 Mbytes/s). This enables dual 10-bit LVDS transmitters that support HDTV resolution.
