The DS90LV047A is a quad-flow CMOS differential line driver for applications requiring ultra-low power consumption and high data rates. The device is designed to support data rates in excess of 400 Mbps utilizing Low Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) technology (200 MHz).
The DS90LV047A accepts low-voltage TTL/CMOS input levels and converts them to low-voltage (350 millivolts) differential output signals. In addition, the driver supports a three-state feature that can be used to disable the output stage, disable the load current, and therefore drop the device to an ultra-low idle power of 13 mW typical state ®. The DS90LV047A has a simple PCB layout with the pins flowing through.
The EN and EN inputs are in phase together to control the three-state output. Able to achieve common ownership of all four drivers. The DS90LV047A and companion line receiver (DS90LV048A) provide a new alternative point to point high-speed interface applications for high-power pseudo-ECL devices.
