The DS90LV048A is a four-way CMOS flow-over differential line receiver designed for applications requiring ultra-low power consumption and high data rates. The device is designed to support redundant data rates at 400 Mbps (200 MHz) utilizing Low Voltage Differential Signal (LVDS) technology.
The DS90LV048A accepts low-voltage (350 mV typical) differential input signals and converts them to the 3V CMOS output level. The receiver supports a three-state ® function that can be used for multiple outputs. The receiver also supports open-circuit, short-circuit, and termination (100 ) input fail-safe. The output of the receiver will be high in all fail-safe conditions. There is a flowing DS90LV048A through the lead wire to facilitate PCB layout.
* EN and EN inputs are combined to control the three-state output. This concession applies to all four receivers. The DS90LV048A and companion LVDS line drivers such as DS90LV047A provide a new alternative to high-power PECL electrical/electrochemiluminescence high-speed point-to-point interface applications.
