DS99R124Q FPD - Link 2 FPD - Link Conversion. It translates to a high-speed serial interface with an embedded clock in a single pair (FPD-Link II) with 3 LVDS data/control streams and a set of LVDS clock pairs (FPD-Link). This serial bus scheme eliminates the problem of deviation between clock and data, greatly simplifies system design, reduces the number of pins in connectors, reduces the size, weight, and cost of interconnects, and simplifies PCB layout overall. In addition, the decoding of the internal DC balance is used to support AC coupling interconnects.
DS99R124Q converter recovers data (RGB) and control signals and extracts clocks from serial data streams (FPD - Link II). It is capable of locking incoming data streams, without a single training sequence or the use of special synchronization patterns, and without the need for a reference clock. Provides a link state (LOCK) output signal.
The transmission medium loss of the adjustable input equalization cable for serial input streams provides compensation and reduces the deterministic jitter caused in. Uses low-voltage differential signals, output state selection functions, and additional output spread-spectrum generation EMI minimization.
With fewer wires connected to the display's physical interface, the FPD-Link output with LVDS technology is ideal for high-speed, low-power and low-EMI data transmission.
