EVAL-AD7091RSDZ

The AD7091R is a 12-bit successive approximationAnalog-to-digital converters(ADC) for ultra-low power consumption (349 μA typical at 3V and 1 MSPS) at high throughput rates (1 MSPS at 50 MHz SCLK). It uses advanced design and signal processing techniques to achieve very low power consumption at high throughput rates. The device also provides an accurate on-chip reference voltage of 2.5 V.

 

The AD7091R operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V supply and contains a wide bandwidth track-and-hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies above 7 MHz. It also features an on-chip conversion clock and a high-speed serial interface. The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled using CONVST signals and an internal oscillator.

• Single-supply operation using separate VDRIVE pins. The AD7091R operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V supply. The VDRIVE feature allows the serial SPI® interface to be independently and directly connected to a 1.8 V to 5 V processor
• The on-chip accurate 2.5 V reference can also be overdriven with an external 2.7 V to 5.25 V reference
• −40°C to +125°C temperature range for a wide range of end markets
Small package:
• Available in a 2mm x 3mm 10-pin LFCSP package, an alternative to the leaded MSOP package is available
