The EVAL-AD7190EBZ is a low noise complete analog front end for high precision measurement applications. It integrates a low noise, 24-bit sigma-delta modulusconverter(ADC)。 The on-chip low noise gain stage means that small signals can be input directly.
The device can be configured as two differential inputs or four pseudo differential inputs. An on-chip channel sequencer enables multiple channels, and the AD7190 performs conversions sequentially on each enable channel, which simplifies communication with the device. The on-chip 4.92 MHz clock can be used as a clock source for the ADC; Alternatively, an external clock or crystal oscillator can be used. The output data rate of the device can vary from 4.7 Hz to 4.8 kHz.
The device offers two digital filter options. The choice of filter affects rms noise and noise-free resolution when operating at the programmed output data rate, settling time, and 50 Hz/60 Hz rejection. For applications that require all conversions to be built, the AD7190 has zero latency.
The device operates from a 5 V analog supply and a 2.7 V to 5.25 V digital supply, consumes 6 mA, and is available in a 24-pin TSSOP package.
