EVAL-AD7274CBZ 3 MSPS 12-bit A/D converter, using TSOT and MSOP packages

The AD7274 is a 12-bit high-speed, low-power successive approximation ADC. Operating voltages are from 2.35V to 3.6V from a single supply with a maximum throughput of 3 MSPS. Inside it contains a low-noise, wide-bandwidth sample/hold amplifier that can handle input frequencies above 30 MHz.

The conversion process and data acquisition process are controlled by CS and serial clocks, creating conditions for the device to interface with a microprocessor or DSP. The input signal is sampled at the falling edge of the CS, and the conversion is initiated here at the same time. The conversion rate depends on the SCLK. There is no pipeline delay on this device.

The AD7274 features advanced design techniques that enable extremely low power consumption at high throughput.

The device uses an external reference voltage range from 1.2 V to VDD. This provides the widest dynamic input range for the ADC.
