EVAL-AD7327CBZ 500 kSPS, 8-channel, software-selectable true bipolar input, 12-bit (signed bit) A/DconverterThe AD73271 is an 8-channel, 12-bit (signed bit) successive approximation ADC designed using an iCMOS (Industrial CMOS) process. iCMOS is a process that combines high-voltage silicon with submicron CMOS and complementary bipolar technologies. With this process, it is possible to develop high-performance analog ICs that operate at 33V high voltages with a volumetric performance ratio that cannot be achieved with conventional high-voltage devices. Unlike analog ICs that use traditional CMOS processes, iCMOS components can input bipolar signals while improving performance, significantly reducing power consumption, and reducing package size.

The AD7327 can input true bipolar analog signals and is available in four software-selectable input ranges: ± 10 V, ±5 V, ±2.5 V, and 0 to 10 V. Each analog input channel is independently programmable and can be set to one of four input ranges. The analog input channels in the AD7327 can be programmed to single-ended, true differential, or pseudo-differential modes.

The ADC has an internal 2.5 V reference voltage or an external reference. If in REF_IN/OUT A 3V reference voltage is applied to the pin, while the AD7327 accepts ± 12V true bipolar analog input. For the ± 12V input range, a minimum ±12V V is used_DD and V_SS Power supply.
