EVAL-AD7329CBZ

The AD7329 can input a true bipolar analog signal and is available in four software selections: ±10V, ±5V, ±2.5V, and 0 to 10V. Each analog input channel can be programmed independently and can be set to one of four input ranges by setting the corresponding bit in the range register.

The analog input channel can be configured in one of three modes: single-ended, fully differential, or pseudo-differential. The analog inputs are configured with dedicated control register bits.

The ADC has a built-in 2.5 V reference voltage and can also use an external reference. If a 3V external reference is applied to the REFIN/OUT pins, the ADC can handle ± 12V true bipolar analog input range. For this ± 12V input range, a VDD and VSS supply of ±12V is required.

The AD7329 is equipped with a multiplexer output pin and an ADC input pin. These pins allow the user to insert a buffer, differential amplifier, or antialiasing filter between the multiplexer and the ADC if necessary, meaning that all eight analog inputs in the AD7329 require only one driver.

The AD7329 supports multiple power-saving modes to reduce power consumption levels by reducing throughput.
