EVAL-AD7357EDZ Differential Input, Dual-Channel, Simultaneous Sampling, 4.25 MSPS, 14-Bit, Successive Approximation (SAR) Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) Samples and Purchase

The AD7357 is a dual-channel, 14-bit, high-speed, low-power successive approximation (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a single 2.5 V supply with up to 4.25 MSPS throughput. The device has two built-in ADCs, each preceded by a low-noise, wide-bandwidth sample-hold circuitry that can handle input frequencies above 110 MHz.

The conversion process and data acquisition use standard control inputs and are easy to connect with a microprocessor or digital signal processor (DSP). Its input signal is sampled at the falling edge of the CS while the conversion begins. The changeover time is determined by the SCLK frequency.

The AD7357 features advanced design techniques that enable extremely low power consumption at high throughput rates. It operates from a 2.5 V supply with a throughput rate of 4.25 MSPS and a typical power consumption of 14 mA. Because of the ultra-low quiescent current, the device also has flexible throughput rates and power management capabilities in normal mode.

The analog input range is differential common-mode +/- Vref/2. The AD7357 has a built-in 2.048 V reference or an external reference.

The AD7357 is available in a 16-pin ultra-thin compact package (TSSOP).
