EVAL-AD7453CB pseudo-differential input, 555 kSPS, 12-bit ADC in an 8-pin SOT-23 package

The AD7453 is a 12-bit, low-power, successive approximation (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that uses pseudo-differential analog inputs and operates from a single 2.7 V to 5.25 V supply with a maximum throughput of 555 kSPS.

The device has a built-in low-noise, wide-bandwidth, differential sample-hold (T/H) amplifier that can handle input frequencies above 1 MHz and a -3 dB bandwidth of 20 MHz typical. The external reference voltage is input via the VREF pin and can vary from 100 mV to 3.5 V, depending on the power supply and application.

The conversion process and data acquisition are controlled by CS and serial clocks, creating the conditions for device interfaces with microprocessors or DSPs. The input signal is sampled at the falling edge of the CS, while the conversion is initiated here at the same time.

The device features a SAR architecture that ensures no pipeline latency.

The AD7453 features advanced design techniques that enable extremely low power consumption at high throughput.
