The /AD7606-6/AD7606-4 are 16-bit, 8-/6-/4-channel simultaneous sampling analog-to-digital data acquisition systems (DAS), respectively. These devices include analog input clamp protection, second-order antialiasing filters, track-and-hold amplifiers, 16-bit charge redistribution successive approximation ADCs, flexible digital filters, 2.5V references, reference buffers, and high-speed serial and parallel interfaces.
Operating from a single 5V supply, the AD7606/AD7606-6/AD7606-4 can handle ± 10 V and ±5 V true bipolar input signals, while sampling at throughput rates up to 200 kSPS on all channels. The input clamp protection circuit can withstand voltages up to ±16.5V. The analog input impedance of the AD7606 is 1 MΩ regardless of the sampling frequency operation. It operates from a single supply, has on-chip filtering, and high input impedance, eliminating the need to drive op amps and external bipolar supplies. The AD7606/AD7606-6/AD7606-4 antialiasing filters have a 3 dB cutoff frequency of 22 kHz; It has 40 dB antialiasing rejection at a sample rate of 200 ksps. The flexible digital filter is pin-driven to improve the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and reduce the bandwidth by 3 dB.
