The AFBR-T524Z emitter is a 650 nm LED light source driven by an internal LED driver IC for efficient coupling into a 1 mm polymer fiber (POF). This product is designed for use in combination with the AFBR-R524Z receiver, which contains a PIN detector and digital output IC. Both the AFBR-T524Z and AFBR-R524Z are compatible with the TTL logic family. Both products can operate at speeds of up to 50 MBd over distances of up to 50 meters using 1 mm POF using biphasic coding.
