HFBR-0508 系列包含以 650nm 波长工作的光纤发射器和接收器，HFBR-1528 发射器是一个采用低成本塑胶封装 LED 的发射器，设计上可以高效率将功率耦合到 200µm 直径 HCS 硬包层石英光纤和 1mm 直径 POF 塑料光纤，HFBR-2528 接收器集成 PIN 检测器和数字输出芯片，兼容 COMS 和 TTL 逻辑系列。

HFBR-0508 链路可以在直流到 10MBd 工作，采用 1mm POF 塑料光纤时距离可达 50 米，200µm HCS 光纤时可达 500 米，使用建议电路时没有最低链路距离要求，可以简化设计。

Versatile Link 组件可以通过互锁将空间降到最小并通过双工连接器提供双连接，高达 8 个封装可以互锁并插入印刷电路板。

POF 和 HCS 以预先加入连接器长度供货，也可以在现场进行简单终端，POF 和 HCS 的单一发射器驱动电流设计可以通过单一设计搭配两种光纤。
