125 MBd 通用链路（HFBR-0507Z 系列）为 100 米以上的 125 MBd 数据传输提供最具成本效益的光纤解决方案。该数据链路内含 650nm 的 LED 发射器、HFBR-15x7Z 和 PIN/预放接收器、HFBR-25x6Z。这些器件可配合低成本塑料光纤或石英光纤使用。1 毫米直径的塑料光纤为 25 米距离内的传输提供最低成本的解决方案。石英光纤较低的衰减性有助于延长数据传输距离，且成本差异不大。这些元件能以更具竞争力的成本应用于高速数据链路，不会出现铜线解决方案的常见问题。
