El transceptor óptico HFBR-5911LZ/ALZ de Avago Technologies está diseñado para enlaces de fibra multimodo de corta distancia (1000BASE-SX) en dispositivos Gigabit Ethernet. Interopera con cualquier dispositivo que cumpla con el estándar de la industria Gigabit Ethernet, cumpla con un protocolo de múltiples fuentes de paquete pequeño y requiera una fuente de alimentación de CC de 3.3V. La interfaz eléctrica está en formato 2x5, mientras que la interfaz de fibra óptica utiliza conectores dúplex LC.
