description
The HI5860 is a 12-bit, 130MSPS (million samples per second), high-speed, low-power/converter that is implemented in an advanced CMOS process. From a +3 V single +5 V supply, the converter provides a full-scale output current of 20mA and includes an edge-triggered CMOS input data latch. Low surge energy and excellent performance in the frequency domain achieve the use of a segmented current source architecture.
This device complements the family of HI5x60 and HI5x28 high-speed converters, which include 8-, 10-, 12-, and 14-bit devices.
