HMC1027是一款极低功率、高性能、完全可编程异步13x13交叉点开关，采用高达14.2 Gbps的数据速率工作。 HMC1027由可编程输入均衡器、13x13开关和去加重可编程输出drive组成。 该13x13开关为完全非阻塞式，支持任何输入路由至任何输出、任何输出组合或广播至所有输出。 由于各种传输介质和通道长度造成的符号间干扰(ISI)，HMC1027在所有输入和输出通道上进行接收均衡(EQ)和传输去加重(DE)以补偿信号损害。 输入均衡器可针对短链路旁路，从而进一步降低整体功耗。 第13个通道与其他12个通道相同，可用作第13个通道或用于信号注入和监测，从而在原型开发阶段实现调试目的。
