Product Details:

HMC1055LP2CE is a low-cost SPST fail-safe switch featuring a 2x2mm, 8-pin DFN plastic package, suitable for switch applications requiring low insertion loss and extremely low power consumption. These devices have a typical loss of 0.7 dB and can control signals with frequencies from DC to 4 GHz, making them especially suitable for IF and RF applications, including RFID, ISM, automotive and battery-powered tags, and laptops. RF1 turns on when reflected, while RF2 has a termination impedance of 50 OHMS in the "off" state. In the "on" state, the switch requires very low DC current and is compatible with CMOS and some TTL logic series. This fail-safe topology keeps the switch usually in the "on" state, meaning RF1 to RF2 have low insertion loss when DC bias is not applied.
