The HMC536 is a GaAs MMIC that operates from DC to 6 GHzT/R switchin a leadless 2 mm x 2 mm DFN LP2 surface-mount package with exposed ground pad or an 8-pin MSOP8G surface-mount package with exposed ground pad. Ideal for cellular, PCS, 3G base stations, WiMAX and WiBro access points and user applications, the switch features low insertion loss of 0.5 dB to 0.6 dB and high input IP3 of 54 dBm to 55 dBm. The switch offers excellent power handling and operates at frequencies up to 6 GHz with a P0.1dB compression point of 29 dBm at 3 V and 33 dBm at 5 V. On-chip circuitry enables positive voltage control of 0/3 V or 0/5 V at very low DC currents. With an area of only 4 mm², the HMC536LP2 is ideal for applications requiring a small size.
