The HMC661LC4B is a SiGe monolithic, fully differential, single-rank, track-and-hold (T/H) device for wideband sampled signal systems that delivers unmatched bandwidth and dynamic range performance. The amplifier provides precision signal sampling over an 18 GHz bandwidth, 9 to 10 bit linearity, 1.05 mV noise, and free aperture jitter below 70 fs over an input frequency range from dc to above 5 GHz. A 4 GS/s clock signal can be used with minimal dynamic range loss. The amplifier can be used to extend bandwidth and/or high-frequency linearity of high-speed analog-to-digital conversion and signal acquisition systems.
