The HMC674LC3C is a SiGe, single-chip,Ultra-fast comparator, integrated small swing PECLOutput driverand latch input. The comparator supports 10 Gbps operation while providing 85 ps propagation delay and 60 ps minimum pulse width with 0.2 ps rms random jitter (RJ). With a typical overdrive and slew rate dissipation of 10 ps, the device is suitable for applications ranging from ATE to wideband communications.
The small swing PECL output stage is designed to drive 400 mV directly into a 50 Ω load terminated at +1.3 V while maintaining compatibility with other PECL logic families. The HMC674LC3C features high-speed latching and programmable hysteresis and can be configured as latch operation or tracking comparator.
