HMC729LC3C is a T-trigger with integrated reset function and is designed to support clock frequencies up to 26 GHz. When working properly, if the reset pin is not placed, the output switches from the previous state to a different state on the edge of the clock. This enables the binocular frequency of the clock input. Regardless of the clock edge state, the set reset pin forces the Q output into a low state (asynchronous reset bit). Inverting the clock input supports negative edge triggering applications.
All signals from the input HMC729LC3C are terminated to on-chip at 50 Ω and support AC or DC coupling. The output can be connected directly to a 50-Ω termination system, while DC-blocking capacitors can be used if the 50-Ω termination is used to an ungrounded DC voltage. HMC729LC3C operates from a single -3.3V DC supply and is available in a RoHS-compliant 3x3 mm SMT ceramic package.
