HMC841LC4B is a Class D trigger that supports data transfer rates up to 43 Gbps and clock frequencies up to 43 GHz. During normal operation, data is transmitted to the output at the right edge of the clock. Inverting the clock input enables negative edge triggering applications. HMC841LC4B also integrates an output level control pin VAC for loss compensation or signal level optimization.
All input signals HMC841LC4B are terminated to on-chip ground at 50 Ω and can be AC or DC coupled. The HMC841LC4B differential outputs can be AC or DC coupled. The output can be directly connected to a 50-Ω grounded termination system, and if it is terminated to a non-grounded DC voltage via a 50-Ω, a DC-blocking capacitor should be used. HMC841LC4B operates from a single -3.3V DC supply and is available in a RoHS-compliant 4x4 mm SMT ceramic package.
