HMC858LC4B is a 2:1 selector designed to support data transfer rates up to 14 Gbps and up to 14 GHz selector port operating frequency. This selector routes one of the two single-ended inputs to the differential output when the selected port is placed. HMC858LC4B also integrates an output level control pin VR that can be used for loss compensation or signal level optimization.
All differential input signals HMC858LC4B are terminated to on-chip ground at 50 Ω and can be AC or DC coupled. HMC858LC4B outputs can be operated in differential or single-ended configurations. The output can be directly connected to a 50 Ω termination system, or a DC blocking capacitor if 50 Ω terminated to an ungrounded DC voltage. HMC858LC4B operates from a single -3.3V DC supply and is available in a RoHS-compliant 4x4 mm SMT ceramic package.
