HMC953LC4B is a differential dual-channel Class-D trigger that provides a common clock and supports data transfer rates up to 14 Gbps, with selector ports operating up to 14 GHz. During normal operation, the dual-channel differential data is transmitted to the corresponding output along the clock edge. Inverting the clock input enables negative edge triggering applications. HMC953LC4B also integrates an output level control pin VR that can be used for loss compensation or signal level optimization.
All differential input signals HMC953LC4B are terminated to on-chip ground at a 50 Ω and can be coupled with AC or DC. HMC953LC4B outputs can be operated in differential or single-ended configurations. The output can be directly connected to a 50 Ω termination system, or a DC blocking capacitor if 50 Ω terminated to an ungrounded DC voltage. HMC953LC4B operates from a single -3.3 V DC supply and is available in a RoHS-compliant 4x4 mm SMT ceramic package.
