ISL23315 is a volatile, low-voltage, low-noise, low-power device with a 256-tap I2C ™ bus, single digital control potentiometer (DCP) that integrates the DCP core, wiper switch, and control logic in a single CMOS integrated circuit. Achieves a combination of resistive components and CMOS switches for digital control potentiometers. The position of the wipers is controlled by the user via the I2C bus interface. The potentiometer has a related volatile wiper registration (WR), which can be directly written and read to the user. The Nishite content controls the position of the wipers. When ISL23315 wipers start running, they always start at medium scale (128-tap position), low voltage, low power consumption, and small ISL23315 packaging, making them an ideal choice for battery-powered devices.
