ISL23348 is a volatile, low voltage, low noise, low power consumption, 128 tap, quad control potentiometer (DCP) with an I2C bus ™ interface. It integrates four DCP cores, wiper switches and control logic in a monolithic CMOS integrated circuit. Each digital control potentiometer is implemented by a combination of resistive elements and CMOS switches. The position of the wipers is controlled by the user via the I2C bus interface. Each potentiometer has an associated volatile wiper registration (WRI I = 0,1,2,3) that can be written and read directly to the user. WRI content controls the position of the wipers. When powered on, each DCP wiper will always start at a medium-scale (64-tap position), low-voltage, low-power, small-package ISL23348, making it ideal for use with battery-powered devices.
