description
Balanced communication through the ISL32437E, ISL32430E 3.3V to 5V power supply, fault protection, extended common-mode range differential transceiver. The RS-485 bus pins (driver output and receiver input) for overvoltage protection ± 40V with an ESD shock of ±15kV. In addition, the common-mode voltage of these transceivers in the operating environment is as high as ±15V (exceeding RS-485 requirements), making this RS-485 series1 even more robust in the market. The transmitter with the V RS-485 standard CC ≥4.5 V and CC = 3V receiver (RX) input 1 1.1V differential output voltage specified by RS-485, even with V54Ω load provides a complete fail-safe design that guarantees logic high Rx output if floating Rx input, short circuit, or termination, but no drive (idle) on the bus. The ISL32437E conversion function that can still maintain Rx input polarity switching (cable inversion function on ISL32437E) when receiving full fail-safe operation includes cables, reverse polarity of Rx and Tx bus cables, in the case of errors during installation, see page 2 Table 1 Main Features and Number of Equipment Configuration
