The ISL32610E, ISL32611E, ISL32612E± 16.5kV compliant with IEC61000 ESD protection, fractional unit load (UL), 1.8V supply, single differential receiver equalizer (Rx) (e.g., RS-485) data communication. With a supply current of 85μA, these receivers are optimized for low-power applications and provide any single receive IC available (see Figure 1). With the lowest supply current, these receive features symmetrical performance switchpoints (±200mV) for low data rate applications in order to improve slow signal transitions and increase hysteresis. Symmetrical swap point elimination pushes out "fail-safe" receivers (see Figure 2), increasing immunity to noise with large duty cycle distortion hysteresis. The receiver, while presenting a 1/8 unit load" data bus, allows 256 large nodes to count the network equipment of the system (e.g., process automation, remote meter reading system). ISL32611E/ISL32612E Rx output three, statable via RE/re-entry. The receiver input has a "fault protected if open" design, which guarantees that the logic high Rx output Rx input floats.
