ISL32610E, ISL32611E, ISL32612E± 16.5kV compliant with IEC61000 ESD protection, fractional unit load (UL), 1.8V power supply, data communication with a single differential receiver equalizer (Rx) (e.g., RS-485). With a supply current of 85μA, these receivers are optimized for low-power applications and offer any single receiver IC available (see Figure 1). The lowest supply current, to improve slow signal conversion, these receive features symmetrical for low data rate applications with switching points (± 200mV) and increased hysteresis. Symmetrical switching point elimination introduces a "fail-safe" receiver (see Figure 2), and the duty cycle distortion lag is large to increase noise immunity. The receiver simultaneously proposes a 1/8 unit load "data bus, allowing 256 large node counting systems (e.g., process automation, remote meter reading systems) for network devices. The ISL32611E/ISL32612E Rx outputs three, and the static ones pass through RE/Re-input. The receiver input has a "fail-safe, if open" design, which guarantees a logic high Rx output Rx input float. Data transfer rates of up to 256kbps are implemented with this device at V CC = 1.8V. Table 1 summarizes the capabilities of each device.
