ISL34340，采用双向I2C接口的ISL34340 27:1 SERDES可在单一高速数据流条件下传送40MHz、6MHz像素时钟频率的24 RGB位和三视频控制位数据.
美国加州、MILPITAS — 2008年07月07日 — 全球高性能模拟半导体设计和制造领导厂商Intersil公司（纳斯达克全球精选市场交易代码：ISIL）今天宣布，推出ISL34340 SERDES接口IC。该器件可以将27位的视频数据和双向I2C传送到一条长达10米的高速LVDS电缆。
ISL34340特别适用于包括在工业、医疗显示、印刷和安全等领域的视频系统中的SERDES应用。
Intersil 公司推出的这款器件的多种性能和集成的增强性有助于设计人员大幅降低成本，同时改善视频信号的距离和可靠性。它采用标准的视频流，可以将3×8（24）RGB位和三视频控制位变成单LVDS对，这样就可以降低连接器和电缆的成本，同时改善EMI/EMC性能；由于采用了双向I2C控制，ISL34340有助于设计人员使用更少的电缆；嵌入在ISL34340中的端接电阻不需要使用分立式电阻器，可以进一步降低成本。
ISL34340利用锁/损失（Lock/Loss）检测功能改善了应用的可靠性，这意味着可以不使用电缆并可应用该型器件的系统拥有更高的可靠性，尤其有助于发现发出信号故障。
ISL34340中的DC平衡的8b/10b代码可以实现交流耦合，同时具有对地电位偏移的免疫性。对共模传输效果的改进有助于在更长距离的电缆上实现可靠的信号传输。ISL34340集成的发射器预加强和接收器均衡功能可以通过消除不必要的信号单元来减少更长距离、较便宜电缆的使用，以实现更加清晰的末端信号传输。
