The ISL70001ASEH is a highly efficient radiation hardened and SEE hardened monolithic synchronous buck regulator with integrated MOSFETs. This monolithic power solution operates from an input voltage range of 3V to 5.5V and provides a tightly regulated output voltage that can be externally regulated from 0.8V to 85% of the input voltage. The ISL70001ASEH utilizes peak current mode control for excellent output load transient response with integrated compensation and switching at a fixed frequency of 1MHz to reduce component size and count. In applications requiring two POLs, the two ISL70001ASEH devices can be synchronized 180° out of phase to reduce the total input RMS ripple current. The internal synchronous power switch is optimized for high efficiency and good heat dissipation.

The ISL70001ASEH integrates the regulator's fault protection function. Protection circuitry includes input undervoltage, output undervoltage, and output overcurrent.

High integration and leading-edge radiation tolerance make the ISL70001ATH ideal for many of today's small applications. The two devices can be synchronized to provide a complete power solution for large-scale digital ICs, such as field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), that require separate cores and I/O voltages.
