The ISL78307 is a high voltage, low quiescent current linear regulator suitable for always-on automotive applications. The ISL78307 operates +6 V to +40 to five normal operating conditions and operates to +3 V cold start. It consumes only 18μA of quiescent current and is in an adjustable version with no load. The ISL78307 is available in fixed 3.3V, 5V and adjustable output voltage (2.5V to 12V) options. It has an EN pin that can be used to consume only 1.8μA of supply current in low quiescent current shutdown mode. The device is protected from overtemperature shutdown and current limit. ISL78307 is compliant with both AEC-Q100 and TS16949 standards. Specified over the -40°C to +125°C automotive temperature range, it is available in an 8 LD EPSOIC package with exposed pads.
