ISL9110A is a highly integrated buck-boost switching regulator that accepts input voltages above or below the regulated output voltage. With other buck-boost regulators, this regulator automatically outputs no significant interference between the operating mode. This is partly capable of delivering up to 1.2A of output current and providing excellent efficiency thanks to its fully synchronous 4-switch architecture. A no-load quiescent current of only 35μA optimizes efficiency under light load conditions. Forcing PWM and/or synchronizing to an external clock may also be chosen for noise-sensitive applications. ISL9110A is designed for stand-alone applications and supports 3.3V and 5V fixed output voltages or variable output voltages, an external resistor divider. Output voltages as low as 1V, or 5.2V, support the use of an external resistor divider. ISL9110A requires only one inductor and few external components. The power solution has a minimum size of 12.4 mm× a 1.6 mm WLCSP package and a 2.5 MHz switching frequency, further reducing the size of external components. TW8820
