ISL97692, ISL97693, ISL97694A is Intersil's highly integrated 4-6 channel LED single-cell lithium-ion battery-driven operational display backlight. These components feature a single 1m quiescent current and maximize battery life by reducing the input voltage to 2.4V without requiring higher supply voltages. ISL97692 has 4 channels and offers 8-bit PWM dimming, with a dimmable frequency of 30kHz. ISL97693 features six direct channels for PWM dimming control. ISL97694A has 6 channels and offers 8-, 10-, or 12-bit PWM dimming with adjustable dimming frequencies of 30kHz, 7.5kHz, or 1.875kHz, respectively, controlled with I2C or PWM input ISL97692 and ISL97694A functions are phase shifting, enabling phase delay between channels optimized for the number of active channels. ISL97694A, phase shift allows PWM dimming to achieve a resolution of over 10 bits of audio by multiplying by 6, which is an effective dimming frequency. ISL97692/3/4A adaptive boost architecture maintains the lowest possible clearance voltage to maximize battery life up to 0.005%, while allowing direct PWM mode. The ISL97692/3/4A dimming frequency with an ultra-low dimming duty cycle of 100Hz incorporates extensive protection features, including series open and short circuit detection, overvoltage protection, and OTP 。 ISL97692 / 3 is available in a 16 LD 3mm x 3mm TQFN package, and the ISL97694A is available in a 20 LD 3mm x 4mm TQFN package. The operating temperature range for all components is -40°C to +85°C.
