These devices are low-cost, high-speed, JFET input op-amps have very low input offset voltage and guaranteed input offset voltage drift. They require low supply currents while maintaining a large gain bandwidth product and fast slew rate. In addition, a well-matched high-voltage JFET input device provides very low input bias current and bias current. The LF412 dual is pin-compatible with the LM1558, allowing designers to instantly upgrade the overall performance of their existing designs.

These amplifiers can be used in applications requiring low input offset voltage and drift, low input bias current, high input impedance, high voltage slew rate, and high bandwidth, such as high-speed integration, fast D/A conversion, sample and hold circuits, and many others.
