The LM101A is a versatile op amp that features the LM709, such as the industry standard, for improved performance. Advanced processing technology reduces the amplitude of the input current order, and the redesigned bias circuitry reduces the temperature drift of the input current. Improved specifications include:

• Offset voltage temperature above 3 mV maximum
• Maximum overtemperature with input current 100 nA
• The bias current of 20 nA is the highest with temperature
• Guaranteed drift characteristics
• The entire common mode and supply voltage range is a guaranteed offset
• As a sum amplifier, the 10V/μs slew rate amplifier offers a number of features that make its application almost foolproof: input and output, common mode range with no latching over overload protection, and free oscillation and with compensated single 30 pF capacitor. It has outperformed internally compensated amplifiers, frequency compensation, and can be based on specific application advantages. For example, in low-frequency circuits, it can increase the stability margin too much. Or it can be optimized to compensate for the top ten factors that improve high-frequency performance in most applications. Additionally, the device offers better accuracy and lower noise in high-impedance circuits. The low input current also makes it particularly suitable for integrated or long-interval timers, sample and hold circuits and low-frequency waveform generators. In addition, replacing the matching transistor with an input buffer circuit for traditional IC op amps can give low offset voltages at a lower cost and drift.
