illustrate

The LM1770 is a high-efficiency synchronous buck switching controller in a tiny SOT23 package. The fixed on-time control scheme design provides a simple free compensatory component to minimize the number of components and board space. It also employs a unique input feedforward to maintain a constant frequency independent of the input voltage. The optimized LM1770 has a low-voltage input range of 2.8V to 5.5V and provides an adjustable output as low as 0.8V. Drive the external high-voltage side and low-pressure side NFET PFET, which can provide efficiencies of up to 95%.

Three versions of the LM1770 are available for different switching frequencies as required by the application. The rated switching frequency ranges from 100kHz to 1000kHz.
