LM25085A is the functional variation of COT PFET's LM25085 buck switch controller. The differences in LM25085A functions are: the feedback reference voltage is 0.9V, the forced shutdown time after current limit detection is long, and the soft start time is shorter (1.8 ms).

LM25085A is a high-efficiency PFET, switching regulator controller that can be used to quickly and easily develop a wide range of small-range, high-efficiency step-down regulators. This high-voltage controller contains a gate driver for PFET and a high-voltage bias regulated wide input range of 4.5V to 42V. The principle of constant on-time regulation, eliminating the need for loop compensation, simplifies the implementation of circuits, and results in ultra-fast load transient response. The operating frequency remains almost constant with changes in line and load due to the inverse relationship between input voltage and time. The architecture of the PFET allows a low dropout of 100% duty cycle operation. Whether it is a PFET, or an external sense resistor R DS(ON), it can be used to detect current overcurrent detection.
