The LM25575 IS AN EASY-TO-USE SIMPLE SWITCHER ® BUCK REGULATOR THAT ALLOWS DESIGN ENGINEERS TO DESIGN A ROBUST DESIGN AND OPTIMIZE THE MINIMUM SET OF COMPONENTS USED BY THE POWER SUPPLY. Operating over 6 input voltage ranges - 42V, the LM25575 delivers 1.5A of continuous output with integrated 330mΩN-channel MOSFETs. The regulator uses an analog current-mode architecture that provides inherent line regulation, accurate load transient response, and loop compensation to alleviate the limitations typically associated with low duty cycles associated with a current-mode regulator. The operating frequency is adjustable from 50kHz to 1MHz, allowing for optimization of size and efficiency. To reduce electromagnetic interference, the frequency sync pin allows multiple ICs to be self-synchronized from the Long March (2) 557x Series to an external clock. The robust LM25575 guarantees cycle-by-cycle current limit, short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown, and remote shutdown. The device is available in an enhanced TSSOP-16 package with an exposed chip heatsink connected to the power supply. The LM25575 is a complete suite of supported WEBENCH online design tools.
