Regulators LM2575 Series Buck Switching Regulators (Buck) drive a monolithic IC with excellent line and load regulation 1A load capability. These devices are available in 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, and adjustable output versions with fixed output voltages.
Requiring a minimal number of external components, these regulators are simple to use and include internal frequency compensation and fixed-frequency oscillators.
The LM2575 series offers a popular three-terminal linear regulator replacement high efficiency. It greatly reduces the size of the heatsink, and in many cases, the absence of a heatsink is necessary.
It is possible to optimize the standard from several different manufacturers with the LM2575 inductor. This feature greatly simplifies the design of switching power supplies.
Other features include a guaranteed 4% tolerance of the ± output voltage at the specified input voltage and output load conditions, with a frequency of ± 10% of the oscillator. External shutdown with 50μA (typical) standby current. The output switches include cycle-by-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown for full protection under fault conditions.
